Extended-hours trading allows investors to place orders beyond standard market times. Here’s how it works:
With Daylight Saving Time (March–November):
Pre-Market: 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
After-hours: 11:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
Without Daylight Saving Time (November–March):
Pre-Market: 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
After-hours: 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.
Important Considerations:
Order Types: During extended-hours trading, you can place market, limit, and stop orders.
Liquidity and Volatility: Be aware that extended-hours sessions may have lower liquidity and higher volatility, potentially affecting trade execution and pricing.
Please note, not all stocks support market orders during extended hours.
How to Place an Extended-Hours Order:
Go to the Company Profile of the stock you want to trade.
Tap Trade, then choose Buy or Sell.
In the order screen, choose your Order Type.
After selecting the order type, enable the option to Include Extended Hours.
Review your order details and confirm the transaction.
