Why can't I buy or sell a stock? 🇸🇦

This could be due to one of the following reasons:

  • Sufficient Funds:

Ensure you have enough funds in your account 💰 to cover the trade. If not, you’ll need to top up your account before placing a trade order 💸.

  • Open Orders:

Check if you have any open orders 🤔. Open orders affect your buying power, which is calculated as the total cash in your account minus the value of all open orders. If your buying power is tied up in open orders, cancel them to regain buying power immediately.

  • Corporate Actions:

If the company is undergoing a corporate action (e.g., stock split, merger, or name change), the stock may be temporarily suspended from trading by our partner broker. This is to ensure the completion of internal processes and protect users from potential errors.
