Investing and trading in securities involves risk, including the possible loss of money you invest, and past performance does not guarantee future performance. Historical returns expected returns, and probability projections are provided for informational and illustrative purposes, and may not reflect actual future performance. While diversification can help reduce risk, it does not necessarily eliminate market, economic, or geopolitical risks. It is the individual investor's responsibility to understand and assess the risk before making any investment and trading decision. InvestSky assumes no responsibility for liability for your trading and investment results.
Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) are typically structured as open-end investment funds or unit investment trusts (UITs), allowing investors to buy shares that represent a portion of the holdings of the fund. They typically aim to track the performance of a specific index, sector, commodity, or asset class. For detailed information about specific ETFs and their associated risks, please refer to the individual ETF prospectuses and offering documents. Leveraged and Inverse ETFs may increase exposure to volatility through the use of leverage, short sales of securities, derivatives, and other complex investment strategies. It's important to note, that the past ETF performance is not indicative of future results. Investors should carefully consider their risk tolerance and seek appropriate financial advice to understand the risks associated with investing in ETFs. It is important to understand the characteristics, risks, and potential returns associated with ETF investments, and carefully assess whether these ETFs align with your investment objectives. ETFs involve inherent risks similar to other diversified portfolios, including but not limited to market volatility, potential loss of principal, fluctuations in asset values, and others. Some of the risks include but not limited to the following; Market Risk - ETF value can fluctuate due to changes in market conditions and factors affecting the underlying assets. Liquidity Risk - the liquidity of an ETF can be affected by the trading volume of its underlying assets. Tracking Error Risk - ETF performance may deviate from the performance of its underlying index or benchmark. ETF trading will also generate tax consequences. For further details, regulatory requirements, and risks associated with ETFs please refer to https://www.sec.gov/investor/alerts/etfs.pdf
Over-the-counter (“OTC”) Securities that typically include bulletin boards, pink sheets, and other thinly-traded securities, are transactions traded in an over-the-counter market, where brokers and dealers negotiate directly. These transactions carry inherent risks, particularly in the trading part because OTC securities can be less transparent, relatively less liquid, and more volatile than actively traded securities listed on major exchanges since they lack the oversight and structure of normal securities traded on exchanges. Trading in OTC equity securities carries a high degree of risk and may not be appropriate for all investors. Investors are strongly advised to exercise caution, thoroughly research companies, and evaluate the risks involved, including market risks, credit risks, liquidity risks, and counterparty risks before transacting in OTC equity securities. The absence of a centralized clearinghouse may expose investors to greater risks, including the potential for significant losses. It is advisable for all investors to fully understand these risks and seek advice from qualified financial professionals before engaging in OTC transactions. It's important to note, that past performance of OTC securities is not indicator of future results.
