Extended-hours trading⏱️ allows investors to place orders after the market closes from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. 🕓 and before the market opens from 4:00 to 9:30 a.m. 🕓 US Eastern Time (EST) Monday to Friday.
Put into your consideration 🧐, the Extended-hours trading is only applicable for the full shares, not including the fractions shares ☝️
How to place an extended-hour order?
When you place an extended-hour trade, the default order type is a Limit Order. To choose Extended Hours Order:
Go to Company Profile > Trade > Buy/Sell > Choose Order Type on the top right side > Extended Hours Order.
